Invitation to Attend to a Training Workshop on Preservation and Conservation of Library and Information Resources

COTUL has organized a five-day hands-on training workshop on the Preservation and Conservation of Library and Information Resources for librarians and information professionals.

This workshop aims to equip participants with knowledge and skills in the following

• Principles and techniques for preserving library resources
• Conserving, and restoring library resources.
• Digitization and archiving
• Managing metadata.

Dates: 8th to 12th May 2023

Venue: Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST)

Target Audience: Academics, Researchers, Librarians, Information Professionals, and ICT Professionals.

Registration Fees: Participants from COTUL member institutions should pay a fee of TZS 500,000/. For NON-COTUL members is TZS 600,000/ and international participants is USD 400. The fee covers meals, venue, and training materials for five days.
